A virtual assistant can be a few different things. A virtual assistant is simply an extension of your current team that works remote (virtually). Many business owners and executives have already made the decision that they need to hire a virtual assistant when I speak with them, but many have not. Typically, there are 2 main reasons I discuss when reviewing the need of a virtual assistant.
1. You have too much to do and not enough time to do it.
This is the number one reason most people hire virtual assistants. Maybe your business has grown overnight or you’ve lost some key employees. Whatever the reason there is just too much day and not enough time! Now you’ve found yourself starting work earlier and staying at the office later missing valuable time outside of work. The only solution is to either say no to your priority list or delegate the tasks to someone else. That’s where a virtual assistant comes in!
Your team has a lot to do but you cannot afford to hire a new employee
Very similar to the above – now your team is on the verge of burnout due to all they’ve taken on for whatever reason. They’re begging you to hire someone, but you just don’t have the funds to hire another employee. A virtual assistant is a great alternative to hiring another employee while still getting the quality of work desired and providing much needed relief to your team.
